HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

We have now entered 2022, and we can’t believe how quickly the last 2 years have flown in. It seems just like yesterday that we had to close our visitor programs due to the sudden threat of a pandemic, and although we haven’t been able to open them just yet, we do hope to be able to do so in the not too distant future.

Despite this, we have accomplished so much over this time, thanks to all of our wonderful supporters. We have been the backbone of support for the 60+ elephants in our area for almost 2 years now, who otherwise would be struggling to survive due to the closure of tourism in Thailand. The five elephants in our care are thriving in their natural habitat, as are their mahouts who have been able to continue to do their job due to our fundraising efforts, and our community, who have been able to supplement their income through our online sales of the woven goods, and some generous donations from our past visitors and volunteers.

We really couldn’t do any of this if it wasn’t for all the support from our followers and our partners. We want to take this moment to give a huge thank you to each and every one of you who has been with us throughout this journey. Your support is so vital to our work.
