I first found KSES as I was coming to the end of my last gap year, and I really wanted to experience something unique and interesting. I was surfing through Instagram and google to see what other people were doing, and I came across KSES! It sounded like an amazing opportunity, so I grabbed it, applied and got accepted.

Since my arrival, I have only experienced complete professionalism from the staff, even before I came. My journey there wasn’t a smooth one as my flights unfortunately got stranded three days at a layover destination and wouldn’t be able to make it to my pick-up time in Chiang-Mai, and I was met with a lot of understanding and accommodated a new pick-up time very easily, which I really appreciated.

I have currently only been here for two weeks, but I have already experienced so much. I love getting to see these magnificent creatures at their best in their natural habitat. It is so fun to see how the different elephants have complex relationships with each other, and how there is a pattern to who they are with and what they do.
